Sonny 2

After an incident you can't remember, you wake up and start searching for answers. What happened? And what is even more important, what about the tape you are gripping in your hand? While you just try to remember, a man on a motorbike appears and attacks you. You lose the tape so that you cannot find out what secrets it contains. But you need to. Therefore you take a metal pipe and pursue the motorbike into a distant security complex where you try to get it back and find out everything you have forgotten.

Sonny 2 is a turn-based Action RPG which continues the story of Sonny, one of the best tactical fighting games available on the web. There is a lot of fighting in it, of course, but you can also purchase equipment while you increase your level continuously. Don't forget to practise after each fight to improve your skills.

Sonny 2 contains a lot of details and features which are even better than in the first part. Through dozens of new audio tracks, five new chapters, new enemies, skills and weapons as well as an innovative game engine and a fantastic new soundtrack, Sonny 2 will certainly not stand behind its predecessor. Nevertheless, it has stuck to the original and taken  all the things that made Sonny such a fantastic fighting game.

Submachine 7: The Core

Submachine, the puzzle and adventure game series by the fabulous Mateusz Skutnik, is back with Submachine 7 - The Core. As in the games before, you can dive into the creepy atmosphere and the mysterious stories to find out what happens next. It is no wonder that Submachine lovers always look forward to the next part and would even sleep on Mateusz Skutnik’s doorstep just to be the first to play the continuation.

The mouse is all you need here. Just interact with your environment and collect items which are stored in your inventory (right-hand side). By clicking on an item once you can pick it up and use it by clicking again. It is important to check your environment several times, particularly after making progress to see every tiny little item or change.

Your progress is saved automatically by the way. So just have a break if necessary. It is most likely that you will need it as this game is very, very tricky sometimes.

Analysis

Fans go wild as soon as there is a new part to Submachine. No wonder, Submachine is among the best games in the puzzle adventure game genre. Submachine 7 turns out to be as fascinating and mysterious as the previous parts. However, it is also demanding but if you liked the previous parts you will certainly love this too.

Gemcraft - Chapter One: The Forgotten

GamesInABottle presents a new TD game in which you play the role of a magician who has needs to defend the world against evil monsters. However, Gemcraft - Chapter One: The Forgotten is not a classic TD game but provides you with some innovative features which make it something special. This time, magically created gems are used to eliminate all the evil monsters.

The gems are placed in the towers and possess different attack modes as, for example, Splash Attack, Poison, Armour Reducement and so on. You can combine up to three gems as well to save space and create even stronger towers to eliminate the monster hordes. Moats are used to slow the enemy down.

Mana is essential to build towers and create gems. You will receive it each time you kill a monster or via a mana pool which is quite expensive but provides you with even more mana and points at destroying monsters. Mana is increased slowly during the game as well. If you kill the monsters very quickly, you will receive a lot of points. You can also send more than one wave into the game at the same time and increase your highscore if you are able to cope with that.
